If you were wondering what the starting price of the Ford Mustang was going to be when it hit European shores, you need wonder no more. The list featuring its pricing information for Germany has been made public and there it’s going to kick off at €34,000 or the US equivalent of $41,500 for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost model.
The price probably could have started even lower, but it seems there will be no V6 available in Europe, or at least not in Germany. It may be added to the range sometime after launch, in order to leave enough time and make sure they sell enough turbos.
The other engine option is the 5.0-liter V8 GT. It pushes the price up to €39,000 or about $47,600at the current exchange rates.
Both prices are for the hardtop model equipped with the manual gearbox. The automatic adds €2,000 on top of that and if you want the convertible, well that will be another €4,000 extra.
Comparing to US prices, the discrepancy is clear – a V8 GT coupe with a manual gearbox is some $15,000 / €12,600 more expensive in Europe.
