The stock, pre-facelift Mercedes E63 AMG with the Performance Package is no slouch by any means, but if you really want to impress and be impressed, check out this tune by Fostla.
At the heart of the tune is a new racing exhaust system with downpipes and a PP-Performance Stage 2 program (priced at €6,299 or about $7,130 in Germany) that includes modified ECU, racing filters and the removal of the top speed limiter. It lifts output from 557PS (550hp) and 720Nm (531 lb-ft) to 720PS (710hp) and 1,000Nm (737 lb-ft).
Elsewhere, Fostla fitted the E63 AMG with H&R lowering springs at the front and a new electronic control for the rear pneumatic suspension, 20-inch LOMA GT1 lightweight rims (€1,650 or $1,870 a pop) shod in 255/30ZR20 tires on the front and 295/20ZR20 on the rear axle, while also wrapping the car in a red foil with matte black accents.
According to the Germans, the entire tune will cost you “about €19,500” or $22,100 at today’s exchange rates.
While Fostla didn’t reveal any acceleration figures, it did share two videos of the tuned E63 AMG going up against a stock Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Gallardo on the highway, which you can check out below.
