Jeep will be visiting next week’s Geneva Motor Show with a concept version of its newly launched Renegade.
The car itself has been customized by Mopar, but what really gets our attention is the matching trailer within which you’ll find a large touch-screen display that interfaces with the new Connect Live system allowing access to Deezer, Internet Radio, Reuters, real time traffic and social network.
We won’t see the trailer entering production any time soon, but the Renegade will be the first Jeep to offer the aforementioned infotainment system starting from this June.
Both the Renegade, which is based on the off-road Trailhawk model, and its trailer sidekick, sport an unpainted brushed metal finish with matte black accents, while riding on 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in beefy BF Goodrich All Terrain tires. The SUV’s suspension has been raised, while Mopar added various accessories such as a unique grille, opaque black mirror covers, black running board, and towbar.
Jeep says that it also customized the Renegade Hard Steel’s interior with a special upholstery for the seats, and a Brushed Steel treatment for the frames of the air conditioning vents, gearbox, glove compartment and audio speakers.
