Another auto show, another special edition of the Ypsilon for Lancia. At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the neglected Italian brand will debut the 30th Anniversary special series of its supermini.

The new special series model gets an exclusive Ultramarine Blue color for the bodywork, celebrative badge on the pillars, jet black 15-inch diamond-effect alloy wheels, chrome exhaust tips as well as a black tailgate – a reference to the first-generation Ypsilon from 1985.

On the inside, the special edition Lancia Ypsilon features black or beige Castiglio Fabric linings, steering wheel with radio controls and the Blue&Me system. Standard features also include ESC stability system, manual climate control, and radio-CD-MP3.

Available from March in European dealerships, the Ypsilon 30th Anniversary is offered with all the engines from the standard model. These include a 69PS 1.2-liter Fire EVO II petrol and its LPG-compatible equivalent, the 85PS 0.9-liter TwinAir with manual or automatic transmission, also offered in a 80PS methane version, as well as the 95PS 1.3-liter Multijet II turbo diesel.
