Toyota’s luxury arm Lexus has announced it will be bringing the concept version of a new model they plan on releasing to the Geneva motor show. They’re calling it the LF-SA Concept and it “explores unexpected territories for the brand in a bold and emotional execution.”
They don’t directly say what kind of car it’s going to be, but we have an idea about that. Australia’s Motoring reports that the concept actually previews a posh production supermini-sized vehicle, which would sit beneath the CT200h in the Lexus range and possibly be based on the Yaris platform.
The Aussie report also brings to light the reveal date and venue for the all-new RX, which will debut at the New York auto show in April.
The production version of the LF-SA concept is expected to be ready in production guise by 2018.
Theoretically, it should rival the likes of the MINI, Audi A1 or the Citroen DS3 in Europe. Check out the concept’s gaping mouth in the teaser shot posted below!
