Nissan will unveil a new concept car at the Geneva Motor Show called Sway, which may preview a future production model for Europe.
According to Nissan, Sway is “a glimpse at how a future generation of small Nissan models could look if the company’s striking new design language was applied to a European hatchback.”
The automaker says that’s exactly the same approach that gave birth to the Qashqai and Juke SUVs, which means it could do it again with a small hatchback, most likely the next-generation Micra.
The teaser photo allows us to see that the Sway sports Nissan’s latest styling cues, including the U-shaped grille and the sharp-looking headlights with boomerang-shaped DRLs. The study also has an athletic stance thanks to the bulged wheel arches and the ascending waistline.
Expect more details on the Nissan Sway as we get closer to its officially debut in Geneva on March 3.
