The sole German machine from the “Holy Trinity” of hypercars just keeps claiming the hearts of people around the world. How can you not be head over heels for it?

As for this gloss black version you see here, it’s also fitted with the Weissach package – just like the one that posed for HRE Wheels a while back, and just like that one, it’s 0.2 seconds faster in getting to 62 mph (2.6 seconds now). It will also need just 7.2 seconds to reach 124 mph (200km/h) – which is half a second quicker than the regular version.

The biggest change that comes with the Weissach Package is the 0-186 mph (300km/h) time. The 918 gets there a whole 2.1 seconds faster (needing 19.9 seconds), which isn’t anything to laugh at when it comes to these types of cars.

These awesome images were taken by Kevin King of Kevin King Uy Photography based in Vancouver, BC, which means that whoever owns this car is going to have to be really careful driving it considering Canada’s somewhat exaggerated laws when it comes to the speed limit. You can’t go over 80 km/h (50mph) on rural roads, and even on the highways you have to keep it under 110/120 km/h (up to 75mph) depending on where you are in the BC area.

The good news, it’s not against the law to use radar detectors in British Columbia.
