The Qoros 3 City SUV went on sale in China just a few months ago, joining their Sedan and Hatch lineup. On March 3rd, we’ll see it grace the halls of the 85th annual Geneva International Motor Show.
You may already be familiar with Chinese car company Qoros and their Qoros 3 Sedan and Hatchback models, launched back in 2013 and 2014 respectively. This, the so-called City SUV (why not just call it SUV?) is more of a crossover type vehicle, and it’s designed for the “premium metropolitan lifestyle, perfect for urban cruising and country driving”.
We figure that they stuck with the word “City” because they want to make sure people understand this isn’t an off-roader, but more of an urban animal, Qashqai-type of thing. Actually, it kind of reminds us of the Subaru XV.
Neither the City SUV, or the Sedan and Hatchback versions are bad looking cars. In fact they have a somewhat elegant design, though mediocre at best. It wouldn’t stand out in a crowd but at least it wouldn’t stand out in a bad way either. And it’s not like we can’t say this for lots of European, American or Japanese cars as well.
As the Qoros 3 City SUV will take to the stage in Geneva, it will also exhibit the brand’s pioneering and award-winning QorosQloud (version 2.0) connected services platform.
