Renault Captur is from now on available with the Energy dCi 110 Euro6 engine, with the new powerplant debuting on the Captur Pure, a new limited edition model launched in France.
Mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the Energy dCi 110 has an official fuel consumption of 3.7 l/100 km (63.5 mpg US or 76.3 mpg UK), equivalent to CO2 emissions of 98g/km. With 110PS (109hp) and 260Nm (192lb-ft), the most powerful version of the 1.5-liter four-cylinder dCi engine gives the Captur a boost of 20PS and 40Nm of torque compared with the dCi 90.
As a result, the Captur dCi 110 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds, 2 seconds quicker than the 90PS version.
As for the limited edition Renault Captur Pure, it will be restricted to 1,000 units, each sporting a distinctive look thanks to the bespoke roof decals and specific door mirror housings, among other features.
The model can also be ordered in Cassiopée Grey with an Etoilé Black roof, with all 1,000 units featuring “Pure” badging on the front fenders. Inside, the Captur Pure features leather upholstery (dark charcoal and smoke grey), along with numbered Pure door-sill badging and carpet mats.
Based on the Intens equipment level, the Captur Pure also features heated front seats, Techno Pack (R-Link and reversing camera), carpet mats, door sill guards and metallic paint.
Customers can order the Renault Captur Pure with either the dCi 90 engine, the TCe 120 (both with EDC transmission) or the new Energy dCi 110 Euro6 unit.
Sales begin today in France, with prices starting from €23,800 for the Captur Pure with the TCe 120 petrol engine. As for the regular Captur with the Energy dCi 110 engine, prices start from €21,600 for the Zen trim level.
