Renault’s Kadjar SUV has even lower chances than the Captur of getting an RS performance version, but that’s what speculative renderings are for, right?
Photoshop ace X-Tomi was the first to give the Kadjar an RS body kit, and the end result looks surprisingly good. The virtual tuning operation included the addition of larger wheels, more aggressive bumpers and body-colored elements.
Also, as with all Renaultsport production cars, the Kadjar RS sits closer to the ground. While I’m not a fan of performance SUVs, I have to admit that a Renault Kadjar RS would look better than many existing hot crossovers.
Purely hypothetically, if Renault were to build it, it would get either the 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine which produces up to 218PS (215hp) in the Nissan Juke Nismo RS, or the 2.0-liter turbo from the Mégane RS, which produces up to 275PS (271hp) in the Mégane RS 275 Trophy. Still, a high-performance diesel engine may be even more appropriate for this sort of vehicle.
