So it seems the world will be getting a Rolls Royce SUV-type vehicle, after much internal debate within the company on the matter of making it or not. The vehicle most definitely won’t look like this rendered interpretation by Theophilus Chin, but it does beg the question ‘what will it actually be like?’

Rolls has already suggested that the vehicle it will create won’t really be an SUV, but more of a high-riding asphalt-oriented crossover with traditional cues slapped on so that you don’t mistake it for something else.

It sounds like the same approach Jaguar adopted for the creation of its first high-rider, a vehicle previewed by the production-like C-X17.

What this rendering shows is a very upright vehicle, like a Range Rover, a vehicle that’s proud to be square and an off-roader. This would have been believable prior to the latest statements made by the company’s top brass.
