SsangYong has confirmed that its new B-Segment crossover will make its first European appearance in Geneva Motor Show.
The new Tivoli has been named after an Italian town next to Rome, famous for its cultural heritage and beauty according to Ssangyong. The Korean company, once known for its controversial-looking SUVs, has given its newest creation a simpler and more easy-going appearance.
“Tivoli offers the fusion of great design, sensible practicality and convenience, and will attract the style conscious customer who seeks form and function from their new car” according to Ssangyong. The new model will be available with two engines, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel, with the option of 4WD. No info has been released so far on the full specs of the car, something that will happen naturally with the official debut of the car.
The new Tivoli will be available from May as a 2WD, 1.6-litre petrol model with the diesel and 4WD derivatives to follow in July.
