Suzuki will unveil two world premiere concept cars at the Geneva Motor Show early next month, a compact hatchback and a mini 4×4 vehicle which may preview the all-new Jimny.

Suzuki says the iM-4 Concept is an “iconic mini 4×4” that packs the brand’s compact DNA and new technologies, as well as “distinctive styling that will give real inspiration to drivers.” According to a report we cited late last year, Suzuki plans to launch six new all-new models by 2017, one of which may be the all-new Jimny. The iM-4’s description totally fits the Jimny’s class, so we hope this study previews the next-generation mini 4×4.

The second concept car is called iK-2 and embodies “an ideal compact sized car” developed with a theme of “Harmonized Force,” whatever that may mean. The Japanese automaker also says the new model “raises compact car values to the limit.” This study may preview an all-new production model positioned as a more practical alternative to the Swift. According to the aforementioned report, the vehicle is expected to go on sale in early 2016 as the first of the six upcoming all-new vehicles and will compete with models like the Honda Jazz.

We’ll surely find out more about these two concept cars in the coming weeks, so do stay tuned.
