Ram’s premiere for the Chicago Auto Show is the 2015 Laramie Limited package, a very shiny edition that’s available for the light-duty 1500, heavy-duty 2500 and extra-duty 3500 bodies.
The most obvious feature of the luxury-oriented package is the large amount of chrome used on the vehicle, especially on the restyled front grille which features a not so subtle “RAM” badge. The rear end of the truck gets an even bigger badge – it’s 20-inch (half a meter) wide! According to Ram’s press release, the big badge is there for people to “clearly identify the truck.”
Moving on to the interior, the Laramie Limited gets black Natura Plus leather with Graystone piping on the seats. Other details include the Black Argento wood and Liquid Graphite accents found throughout the cabin.
Other significant exterior details are the darkened halogen-only headlights, LED turn signals and LED taillights. Inside, the Laramie Limited gets black Natura Plus leather with Graystone piping on the seats. Other enhancements include the Black Argento wood and Liquid Graphite accents that are found throughout the interior.
We’ll bring you more on the 2015 Laramie Limited from the Chicago show later today.
