The Dutch reviewer from AutoWeek points out something very interesting about the SEAT Leon ST Cupra. The estate is faster than the five-door because it creates less drag – this reportedly translates into lap-times up to five seconds quicker around the Nurburgring.
This means that it should theoretically be more economical at speed, as well. Couple that with the fact that it has more usable cargo space and still looks sharp even with the elongated rump and you get a very enticing package.
The hatch still pips it to 62 mph or 100 km/h – the estate takes .3 seconds longer, managing six seconds dead in upgraded 280 PS guise (with the DSG).
