Remember that tuned BMW M5 from a month ago that could hang with the Nissan GT-R? Here it is again taking on a stock M3. The result is both obvious as well as irrelevant.

We know these two cars are very similar when they accelerate from either a stand still or a rolling start – but this is only when they’re both stock. The M5 still wins, but not until they pass 130km/h or so.

This M5 however is using a Burger Motorsport Stage 1 power pack, which gives it roughly 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque to play with. And since this is a rolling start race, it just torque-slaps the M3 as soon as they both drop the hammer.

It’s not even close, not to mention fair. Even when stock, the M5 has a 131 HP advantage and a 130 Nm torque advantage. The M3 however has a 310 kg advantage, which allows it to match the M5 in just about every way, and to even be a bit faster off the line than it’s big brother.

But against an 800 Nm M5? Not a chance. So if you’re mad about the lack of fairness, just watch this very same M5 take on Godzilla, and you’ll definitely feel better.
