Turning the just announced 2016 Jaguar XF into its high-performance XFR-S brethren seems like a straightforward process, no thanks to the base car’s strong resemblance to its predecessor.
Our friend Khalil Bouguerra from Virtuel-Car made these two renderings of the 2017 XFR-S for “The Automobilist“.
They’re based on the second generation XF S model, with the Photoshop artist tacking on the appropriate badges, new wheels, a fixed rear wing and a rear diffuser with quad exhaust tips.
To be fair, that’s more or less what Jaguar did itself with the outgoing XFR-S on the outside. As far as the internals are concerned, it’s thought that the production XFR-S will come into play next year featuring a force-fed V8 with nearly 600 horsepower.
