2016 will bring a much-needed new flagship sedan for the Lincoln brand, previewed by the Continental concept that will be unveiled tomorrow at the New York Auto Show.

While labeled as a concept car, the Lincoln Continental looks pretty much like a production vehicle if the flashy bits are removed. That’s exactly what Photoshop manipulator X-Tomi did, in his attempt to turn the Continental concept into a production vehicle.

The first elements to go were the futuristic door handles, replaced by more conventional ones. The headlights’ LED clusters were also replaced by what appears to be bi-xenon technology, with other changes including new alloy wheels and a more production-ready front bumper.

I don’t know what you think about this rendering, but I for one hope the study’s wheels and headlights remain untouched when the Continental makes the transition from study to production.
