BMW released a huge gallery of the updated 6 Series model. The Bavarians have slightly tweaked their big cruiser to keep it fresh for the remaining of its career.
The aesthetic tweaks are subtle, bringing the 6 Series in the same page with the 4 Series design style, with new bumpers and a kidney grille that now has nine bars instead of 10 (really!) featuring sharper top ends to create a three-dimensional effect. The lights all around have also new LED signatures while the interior benefits from new trims and colors.
There are no changes under the bonnet though, with the 6 Series still offering a turbocharged 320hp 3.0-litre inline six petrol engine for the 640i, a twin-turbocharged 313hp 3.0-litre inline six diesel for the 640d and the top-of-the line 650i which uses a 4.4-litre 444hp twin-turbo V8.
