Of course, it does – it’s not like the Chinese carmaker made any effort to conceal the resemblance between their new 330 electric car and the Kia Picanto, now, did they…
There’s nothing more we can say about the exterior design of the new Yogomo 330 that you can’t see for yourself in the gallery below.
At least they took a different path with the 330’s interior with only a few Kia-like references such as the upholstery and the steering wheel design.
Yogomo will offer the 330 with both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries that will deliver a driving range between 80km to over 250km (50 miles to 155 miles), depending on the version. The Chinese company says there will also be a plug-in hybrid edition. All battery-powered models feature an electric motor rated at 13kW or 17.5hp.
The 330 measures 3,450mm long, 1,500mm wide, and 1,480mm tall riding on a 2,385mm wheelbase.
Prices in China start from 31,500 Yuan ($5,040 / €4,740) for the lead-acid battery model rising to 54,500 Yuan ($8,720 / €8,200) for the lithium-ion battery edition, not including any state subsidies for EVs.
