Citroen’s luxury arm DS has debuted the facelifted DS5 in Geneva, marking its genesis as a separate brand for the first time in public.
The new DS5 features several cosmetic changes to better broadcast this new, individual identity with the most prominent one to be the new chrome-surrounded front grille with the brand’s new logo.
A set of new “Xenon Full LED” headlights, a latest-generation 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink and Apple CarPlay on the way, five refreshed, more frugal engines, including the Hybrid AWD Diesel powertrain that offers 200PS (197hp) while emitting less than 100g/km of CO2 are among the changes.
A beautiful DS21 was also present at the stand, reminding us the glory avant-garde days of the brand, finished in the same blue paint of the DS5 show car.
