Good to know that the boys from Top Gear haven’t lost their humor, as James May proved when approached by 5 News at his home.
“Do you support Jeremy?” asked the reporter. “In many ways no, I have said many times before the man is a knob, but I quite like him. It’s all getting a bit ridiculous,” answered May.
When asked what he understood about what had happened, the 52-year old Top Gear host replied, “Not very much, I was blind drunk. No further comments – sorry.”
In the remote chance you haven’t heard, Jeremy Clarkson was suspended by the BBC on Tuesday after it became known that he allegedly “aimed a punch” at a longtime assistant producer because there was no food at the Top Gear set. BBC has said that the show has been suspended pending an investigation of the alleged incident.
