Don’t be shy to admit that you’ve never heard of Kevin Lyons before he announced his intentions to debut a strange-looking, self-proclaimed hypercar named LM2 Streamliner at next month’s NY Auto Show. We hadn’t.
We’ve only seen his bulbous hypercar in digital mockups, so we’ll withhold final judgment until we see it in the flesh in the Big Apple.
What we can share with you now is a video find from Carscoops commentator “Timell” who discovered a YouTube interview (of sorts…) of Kevin Lyons conducted by a one Diana Monford from 2014 in a setting that brings back memories of late night infomercials from the 1980s.
Among other things, Lyons says that the 1700HP all-wheel drive carbon fiber hypercar will have a price of around $1.3 to $1.4 million, depending on the level of customization, and that he’s been designing and building cars for 30 years, though, no one knew about it until now – he does have a point there.
Watch the video for yourself below, but bear in mind that Manford often veers towards NSFW.
