The R Line packages won’t make your VW go any faster, but they can give ordinary cars like the new Touran a more youthful and sporty appearance.
VW hasn’t detailed the two available R Line packages for the exterior and interior respectively, but it mentioned that they include different bumpers with gloss black and chrome elements, the front with a lip spoiler and the rear with a diffuser and chrome tailpipes, side skirts and bigger, multispoke alloy wheels.
Dark headlamps and taillights for the outside and bespoke seat covers and cabin trims for the inside are also included.
Making its world premiere in Geneva this week, VW’s new mid-size MPV utilizes the Golf’s MQB platform for the first time. It has grown in size and offers seating for five or seven passengers with a luggage space of 743 to 1,980 liters. Both diesel and gasoline engines will be available when it goes on sale in Europe this fall.
