The Karl is one of Opel’s big reveals of the day, and as we’re waiting for things to heat up in Geneva, we’re being treated to some sneak previews from their stand, where the Karl is looking quite good.
Despite the fact that today will be its official debut, the order books opened back in January as the under €10,000 car (starting price) looks to take Europe by storm with its eco-friendly 1.0 liter three-cylinder petrol engine – good for 4.3 l/100km and just 99g/km of CO2 (ecoFlex package).
We’re quite fond of this little city car and we must say it’s looking pretty good in these images, in what looks like top of the range Cosmo spec.
Which is also obvious from the interior shots where we’ve got leather seats, leather steering wheel, piano black inserts and so on.
More to come soon as Opel are about to start their press conference, which will be just as much about the Karl as it will be about the new Corsa OPC.
Stay tuned!
