Land Rover officials are no doubt shaking their heads in frustration right now after seeing the ironically named Longer Yuelang X1, which is a poorly conceived and miniaturized replica of sorts of a Range Rover.
No, unlike the Land Wind X7 Evoque clone, you will never, ever mistake it for a Range Rover model, but that doesn’t excuse the joint venture that built it, Hebei Cook Electric Vehicle Corporation of Hebei Province, and Jiangsu New Grant New Energy Technology Corporation of Jiangsu Province.
The Longer Yuelang X1was presented alongside another one of the Chinese company’s inspired creations named the Jinlang X1 with a BMW grille at the Shandong EV Expo where we also saw the Jinma JMW2200, a BMW i3-wannabe.
Besides the Range Rover-cloned front and rear end styling elements, the Chinese automaker also used Land Rover’s trademarked badge on the tailgate along with a “Range” inscription up front and the “ONEVROVER” at the back.
And just to top it all off, they placed BMW roundel badges on the wheels! What will they think of next…
