Toyota seems to love Jeremy Clarkson and what he did with and for the manufacturer on the Top Gear show. It has just released a small tribute video to the presenter showing “all his best bits” (that made them look good in the process).
Who could forget the Hilux destruction saga, or the more recent and deeply positive GT86 review, a car which you can drift while reading a book, according to Jeremy.
The Japanese automaker wasn’t in the least bit offended by his Corolla/refrigerator/washing machine lineup joke – arguably and objectively one of the best jokes he’s ever made on TV. It wasn’t on top gear, but another show he hosted called Clarkson’s Motor Years.
But don’t worry Toyota, Jeremy won’t sit on the sidelines for too long and before you know it he’ll be back to work. What kind of work and where? Well, we don’t know that yet and probably neither does he.
