You Know You Want to see Honda’s Civic Type-R as a Wagon!

We’ve heard absolutely zero rumors of a possible Type-R variant of Honda’s quite nice-looking Civic Tourer, but that means nothing in the world of digital photo manipulation. Since I`d personally like to see such a car get made, I went ahead and tried to piece it together in PhotoShop to see if there’s aesthetic potential.

I`m not saying the new Type-R is pretty (it’s not), but maybe the garish body kit plus spoiler and the bigger wheels works better on the longer Tourer version, arguably the better looking of the Euro Civic range.

If it were to get made, maybe it would be faster than the hatch on the straights; if you check out the SEAT Leon ST Cupra, you’ll see the estate is actually faster flat out than the hatch because the longer shape provides better air flow – same here.
