The all-new Jaguar XF has failed to surprise many car enthusiasts with its design, looking more like a facelifted version of the previous generation XF than a completely new one. Furthermore, the similarity with the smaller XE is more than obvious.

So what can we expect from the estate version of the all-new XF, the Sportbrake? Obviously, nothing surprising, as this rendering from Remco Meulendijk anticipates. Just like the sedan, the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake will look slightly sleeker than its predecessor, but people will still have a hard time figuring out if it’s the new or old model.

Obviously, there’s nothing inherently wrong with the car from a styling point of view, and people who are not familiar with the old XF will love it. What Jaguar needs more is for owners of the previous XF to love the new car as well. That’s all that matters, actually.
