Danish startup boutique supercar builder Zenvo is a company whose image has been slightly tarnished on Top Gear, yet it’s by no means giving up and is bringing two updated cars to the Geneva motor show that starts this week.
Not many details were spared, but according to Bloomberg (also the source of the video posted below), “Zenvo will display two of its cars next week at the Geneva International Motor Show, highlighting a new wheel design and gear-shift system, according to brand manager Lars Meller.”
In regards to the “gear-shift system,” it’s actually a new gearbox, a seven-speed single-clutch unit that is said to shift faster than any other setup of its kind in the world. Swapping cogs takes a very brisk (dual-clutch-rivaling) 35 milliseconds.
We don’t know if it’s getting paddle shifters or not, although it’s very unlikely that it won’t.
In regards to the wheel design, that’s pretty self explanatory – the car(s) they’ll be showing off at the Swiss venue will feature fresh wheels. The rest of the car will be completely unchanged from what we understand.
