The first time we saw the mighty RRS Winner by Larte Design, it was wearing white & black and looking quite flashy. Now, here it is wearing blue (mostly), but still looking just as impressive.
Where do we start with this? First of all, it’s based on the Range Rover Sport SDV8. What that means is that at one point, its 4.4 liter V8 turbodiesel engine was producing 340 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. That was good enough to get it from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds.
Larte Design’s power package bumped the RRS’s maximum output to 400 HP, which should help it have better results in terms of straight line acceleration. The tuner doesn’t specify how much faster the car is, but we’d reckon they probably shaved around 1 second off its sprint time. And yes, we’re speculating.
We get that the custom grille is unique, but we’re not ready to say that it’s an improvement visually over even the factory version.
The rear end looks better though with its new four-flow Larte exhaust system and black-chrome-plated tailpipes.
Come to think of it, the Larte Design RRS Winner is a great looking SUV, front, back, side, doesn’t matter. The only thing we have an issue with is the grille. It’s not that inspiring, unlike the 400 HP.
If we had to choose, we’d still pick Lumma Design‘s RRS over this one – but it wouldn’t be an easy decision.
