As you know, not everybody is interested in buying new cars. Some can’t afford them, others simply don’t think they’re worth it. Used cars can make a whole lot of sense to a whole lot of people.
Naturally, BMW (just like any smart car manufacturer) isn’t using the term “used” when referring to cars that have been previously owned. Therefor, they’re calling them “Pre-Owned” and it does sound better.
Buying a certified pre-owned car can be a lot safer than just rolling the dice with something from a used-car lot or from a random individual. And BMW is making sure you know that. They’re also suggesting that their pre-owned cars are so well maintained, they actually drive and look like brand new cars.
Which is why the woman in this video doesn’t want her kids anywhere near it, especially after being covered in mud from all that soccer practice. By the way, BMW wanted to make it so clear that those kids are coming back from playing soccer, they actually put a soccer ball on their uniform as a team logo.
Of course, choosing to have your kids go home in a cab while you drive your BMW X3 is ridiculous. No mom would ever care that much if her back seat gets a little dirty.
Still, the cab driver looks a bit bothered by the whole thing at the end. He’s probably sick of having to wash the backseat in the middle of the day.
