Qoros wants to enter new segments and the 2 SUV PHEV Concept is their way of telling us.
The Chinese company wants to appeal to “young, open-minded and efficiency-conscious metropolitan consumers” with their new concept, hinting at the same time their future design language.
Designed by teams in Munich and Shanghai, the Qoros 2 SUV PHEV is a bold-looking car with prominent shoulders and an aircraft-inspired charging system for its hybrid powertrain. The system is named ‘Don’t touch a cable’ (yes, really) because of the electric charging point being deployed at the press of a button in order to be plugged into the charging pod without needing human interference.
“This concept car is a strong indicator of our long-term plans – combining our commitment to expanding our product range with our desire to innovate and be different”, said Phil Murtaugh, CEO of Qoros.
I don’t know, it may look like a Cadillac but I still kind of like it. What’s your opinion?
