The French Facel brand was known for its elegant and fast touring cars through the ‘50s, especially among the wealthy Europeans.
Petrolicious features a beautiful Facel Vega Facel II, a long-distance tourer filled with exquisite design details and a Chrysler-derived V8 under the bonnet. From the aircraft-like switches on the console to the huge windscreen, Facel knew how to create an inviting and luxurious environment for its cars.
With a production of about 180 cars, the Facel II is a rare and very desirable classic with period customers to include well known artists and even kings.
Ringo Starr, Ava Gardner, Stirling Moss were only few of the known Facel owners before the French company went bankrupt in 1964.
