Ford has unveiled the production version of the luxurious Vignale Mondeo, the first member of the Ford Vignale upscale lineup.
Available for both the Mondeo sedan and estate, the Vignale line features unique design and specification with quilted and tuxedo-stitched leather interior, exclusive Vignale Nocciola metallic paint color and special alloy wheel designs, among many other things.
Available to pre-order from May at Vignale Lounges integrated within the new flagship FordStores opening across Europe, the Vignale Mondeo also features technologies including Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Active Noise Cancellation, Active Park Assist featuring Perpendicular Parking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Active City Stop and the Sync2 infotainment system, among other features.
The Vignale Mondeo will only be offered with the most powerful engines from the Mondeo family, including the 210PS 2.0-liter biturbo diesel and the 180PS 2.0-liter turbodiesel, the 2.0-liter EcoBoost petrol offered with 203PS or 240PS, and the 187PS petrol-electric hybrid. It will also be available with Ford’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (iAWD) system.
Styling-wise, the Ford Vignale Mondeo gets exclusive upgrades including an upper grille featuring the Vignale hexagonal design in dark matt metallic finish and with a polished aluminium surround, a high-gloss lower grille with chrome bars, chrome door details, as well as a high-gloss finish for the windshield pillar, door mirror sail and for the central and rear window pillars.
The model is also distinguished from other Mondeos thanks to the dedicated 18-inch Vignale alloy wheels and exclusive Vignale Nocciola exterior paint. Metallic paints are offered as standard, with further options including Vignale Black, Vignale Silver and premium four-coat Vignale White.
Inside, Ford Vignale Mondeos get exclusive Vignale leather trim featuring Vignale hexagonal quilting and tuxedo stitching with soft-touch elements that extend to the instrument panel, center console, arm-rest, and door top-rolls.
Prices start from £29,045 (approximately $43,470) in the UK, with customers getting a personalized service tailored to their needs for the entire ownership period, supported by a Vignale relationship manager and 24 hour free-phone assistance from the Vignale One Call service.
