After the official reveal of the new 640hp Cadillac CTS-V, it was only a matter of time before Hennessey Performance prepared an upgrade package with huge figures written all over it.

The Texas-based builder is ready to offer the 2016 HPE1000 package for the next CTS-V which ditches the factory supercharger in favour of two turbochargers bolted on a strengthened 6.2-liltre V8, taking the power up from 640hp to 1000hp. Hennessey’s package for the CTS-V also includes carbon-ceramic brakes, a wide bodykit to fit larger wheels and tyres as well as custom upgrades for the interior.

Only 24 cars will be offered for the 2016 model with John Hennessey estimating that the HPE1000 Twin Turbo Cadillac CTS-V will be the world’s fastest 4-door sedan with a top speed approaching 240mph (386km/h).

If 1000hp is a bit too much for you, Hennessey Performance Engineering also plans to offer smaller engine upgrades that deliver 750-800hp from the factory supercharged V8 engine as well.
