Jonathan Ward, CEO of ICON talks to XCAR about the company and how they started restomodding vintage Land Cruisers and Broncos, becoming one of the most respected builders globally.
Their creations have become extremely desirable and popular and as Ward explains, the amount of people who love the vintage aesthetics but have no interest in dealing with the ancient mechanical experience has grown immensely the past years. It’s safe to say that ICON is something like the Singer of 4x4s.
He also describes what the “Derelict” series of vehicles is all about and the plans for building their own original car named Helios using the electric powertrain from the upcoming Tesla Model X.
