Infiniti is slowly gaining ground in the UK, and has more recently picked up the pace. The manufacturer reports 100 percent sales growth year-to-date owing much of it to the introduction of the new Q50 range.

It’s not only the UK where the brand is on an upward trajectory, but in many major markets around the world, as well, primarily China (where its new corporate headquarters is now located).

UK sales blew up in March of this year, it seems, as it’s been reported that they sold 350 percent more cars than in the same month of 2014.

The near future seems to be shaping up as even more generous, as they’ve yet to launch their cheapest and most attainable model, the Q30 which will be followed by a much sought after crossover variant dubbed the QX30.

Then they’re releasing a sexy coupe based on the Q50 sedan (pictured) and previewed by the Q60 sports concept. All these new models will only attract more buyers to the brand, particularly the two hatchback models, although profit margins are arguably narrower for these than they are for fancier offerings further up in the range.
