Looking for a fresh take on culinary arts? Peugeot Design Lab has a very interesting solution for you, and it’s called the ‘Food Truck’.
The ‘Food Truck’ is a “urban chic concept” meant to showcase premium French cuisine, delivering high-quality food on the go. We were tempted not to use “high-quality” and just leave “food” in the previous sentence, since French cuisine isn’t for everybody.
Also, Peugeot even went as far as to name it “Le Bistrot du Lion”, which kind of reminds you of food in a way, doesn’t it?
The truck (well it’s more like a van) features short front and rear overhangs which increase maneuverability, plus there’s the long wheelbase for better load volume.
It will also accommodate no fewer than 30 people comfortable, whereas the areas for food preparation, eating, refreshments, DJ booth (showcasing a new digital music platform which you can check out here) are all separate.
Customers can also see the chef’s every move via a 46″ screen and a set of 8 high-end FOCAL speakers with 32 tweeters.
Peugeot worked together with Euromag in order to ensure that the ‘Food Truck’ is in compliance with all standards and food regulations.
Overall, it seems like a cool concept, especially for those interested in getting a bite to eat on the move.
