Porsche is inviting everybody to discover why their cars are “Uncommon” and why the G-Force you experience in a 911 can fire up your brain Fighter Jet-style.
In order to prove this, and yes we’re aware it’s a marketing stunt, they went and booked a fighter jet (sounds easy enough) and brought their own 911 GT3 to the play ground.
First, the test subject got to experience some serious Gs in the jet, which is sure to get your attention no matter who you are.
Then it was the GT3s turn to do a few laps. We’ll assume that the actual test laps weren’t the same ones they filmed with the other 911 near by, because they looked rather slow and uneventful.
Still, the results are in and it seems that the human brain is quite satisfied with the excitement provided by a GT3. Not exactly on the same level as with the jet, but close enough to make it interesting.
By the way, since we mentioned the “marketing stunt” part already, we’d like to point out that scientists could have gotten those very same results with any other car that’s similar to the 911 GT3 in performance – and there are quite a few.
