We’re not saying it is, and this positive video only comes to add to the slew of ones we’ve already seen. However, all the previous ones were by US-based reviews, whereas this is the first time Europeans have had a good look at it.
The readers are right, though, as Subaru kind of invented this sector, it’s only natural that their entry into it be competent. It’s always been so, but the predecessor to this car was so ugly and disproportionate-looking that it negated its other qualities; the one you want second hand is the one before that, a post 2003 but pre 2009 example.
