The Giugiaro Gea concept is such a nice shape that it can probably be adapted to match any manufacturer family face. But how about a Jaguar face, as Theophilus Chin is suggesting via his most recent rendering.
If you look at the front three-quarter view, the nose does look a bit high off the ground, but it’s probably just a matter of perspective. The idea behind it is to envision “an XJ of the future” using the Italian design study and the front part of an F-Type.
Is it successful? Well, we’ll let you decide in the comments section below. We do agree that good design is (in principle) universal and that you can give a car new identity by grafting on a face, but this rendering just gives us a bit of a weird vibe…
