McLaren has released an online configurator letting you now to build a 570S according to your own personal taste.

You can opt for a look-at-me-now Mantis Green or a subtle Blade Silver on black rims, you can go crazy and choose all the carbon bits offered, including the roof panel, the wheel arches and the side aero blades or you can just leave it as it is. The baby McLaren is the entry-level model of Woking and features a detuned version of the company’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 562hp at 7,400rpm and 443lb ft of torque between 5,000 and 6,500rpm. The curb weight is only 1,313kg allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 3.2 seconds and to 124mph in 9.5 seconds. Top speed is rated at 204mph.

The McLaren 570S will start at $184,900 in the US and £143,250 in the UK. The competition includes the Porsche 911 Turbo, the also new Audi R8 V10 and the upcoming and hotly anticipated Honda NSX.
