The Zinoro Concept Next most likely previews the brand’s second model for the Chinese market after the BMW X1-based 1E. The BMW-Brilliance alliance’s brand focuses on building electric cars, with the Concept Next also featuring an all-electric powertrain.
Judging from its size, the Concept Next may be based on the BMW X3. Still, while the Zinoro 1E’s connection to the BMW X1 is pretty clear, the Concept Next doesn’t look like any of BMW’s current SUVs. No technical details were offered, but the Concept Next may feature the same electric motor from the Zinoro 1E.
Zinoro’s only model on sale is powered by an electric motor producing 125kw (168hp) and 250Nm (184lb-ft) of torque. The motor sources its power from three lithium batteries. The Zinoro E1 has a top speed of 130 km/h (81mph) and a driving range of up to 150 kilometers (93 miles), with a full charge taking 7.5 hours.
The Zinoro brand is called Zhi Nuo in Chinese, which translates to “The Promise.”
