The current-generation Audi A3 arrived in 2012 and since then it hasn’t received any major updates. Given the ever shorter life cycles in today’s auto industry, a facelift should arrive late this year or next year for Audi’s compact family.
But what will be the Germans’ approach? Audi’s facelifts aren’t usually spectacular, and Photoshop manipulator Remco Meulendijk anticipates the refreshed A3 will make no exception.
As the renderings show, the A3 could get new LED signatures for the headlights and taillights, as well as slightly revised grille and bumpers in line with the latest Audi models.
Rumor has it the facelifted Audi A3 could also get smaller engines like the 1.0-liter 3-cylinder found in the A1 and VW Golf, as well as safety features from bigger Audi models. What do you think?
