After BMW teased us with their upcoming PGA Sporting Challenge, where Ben Foden, Tommy Fleetwood and Tiff Needell went head to head in a series of fun sports trials, the results are finally in.
First up, it was Needell trying to get the lads to power slide that BMW 1 Series. Unfortunately for Tommy and Ben, neither of them could complete a full slide – at least not enough to satisfy Needell – and we agree with that.
Challenge No.2 was all about Rugby where Needell managed to kick the ball almost as good as Ben on his first try (though not as high). Pro Golfer Tommy Fleetwood wasn’t as successful – they’re really not used to kicking things around.
Trying to chip the ball into the boot of that BMW X5 wasn’t as easy as they expected it to be (probably) – since competitive people feel like they could succeed at most things. Naturally, Foden was the only one who managed to do it.
Finally, the last challenge involved trying to hit the crossbar with a golf ball – which was arguably the hardest thing they had to do all day. Tommy made the shot on his first or second try (it was unclear since they were bickering about it), and then surprisingly it was Ben Foden who managed to hit the crossbar as well.
Overall, the whole thing looked like a great deal of fun. Too bad they couldn’t involve the cars even more in their challenges.
