The Mad Max: Fury Road movie’s vehicle set is slightly creepy but quite cool, which is why we’re not surprised people are trying to reproduce them with whatever they can get their hands on. In this case, it’s LEGO.
With enough patience, people have created life-sized moving vehicles out of the blocks, but capturing the character of the movie cars with very few blocks has its charm too. That’s what Flickr user LEGO Will has done and he seems to specialize in creating movie-related miniature representations.
His Mad Max cars certainly bring the real thing to mind, and he’s even taken the time to give the characters stubbly faces and raggedy clothes to fit the theme – that’s attention to detail right there and it’s nice how they strengthen the theme.
He’s also recreated the original interceptor from the Max Max 2 movie of 1981 – you can’t miss it; it’s the all black one in the gallery below!
