We already know the next installment in the Need for Speed series is going back to its Underground roots, but what does that actually mean in 2015?
Well, we’ve received extra clarification in the form of a description (apparently inadvertently) posted on the Xbox store.
Part of the description reads “carve your own unique path, via multiple overlapping stories, gaining reputation on your journey through extensive visual and performance customizations.” We’re also informed that there will be five ways to play the game: Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw.
We also learn more about the game’s virtual setting. According to the leaked information, action will take place in Ventura Bay, a fictitious west coast-like setting.
In regards to it, the Xbox description says you will “discover a nocturnal open world of urban car culture you never knew existed. Ventura Bay is your urban playground; from downtown, the harbor and the canyons, the city comes alive while you sleep.”
Finally, the launch date was announced too; it’s November 3.
