Holden is on a mission to provide drivers with more style and substance, which is why the Special Edition Trax Active was born – naturally, those are their words, not ours…

But if Holden Trax customers do want more style and substance, then perhaps they would be interested in hearing about the new functional upgrades.

In addition to all that features already found on the MY15 Trax LS, which include a 7″ color touchscreen and the MyLink infotainment system, the Trax Active brings with it 17″ alloys, an ‘Active’ badge, an electric sunroof, roof racks and chrome exterior door handles.

It’s definitely a well configured car, and it’s a generally well-liked model – regardless of how you know it (as a Holden, as a Chevrolet Trax or an Opel Mokka).

Holden’s Executive Director of Sales, Peter Keley said that the Trax Active is not only “designed to meet the demands of customers that lead active and busy lifestyles, offering both style and practicality in abundance,” but that it also “leads a range of competitive offers available in the Step Up At Holden sale, including the versatile Colorado LS 4X4 Crew Cab and Australia’s Best Car, the VF Commodore SV6 sedan.”

The Step Up At Holden sale also includes the Barina X hatch, the V6 Captiva 7 LTZ and the Cruze Equipe.

As for the Trax Active, it’s already available and is priced at $24,990 – for which you also get free automatic transmission. Not bad at all.
