This is the first look at the basic shape of the all-new Toyota Prius that should be revealed next year. It was snapped up by an IndianAutosBlog reader in Thailand, but sadly we only have the one shot to get an idea of what the car will be like.
One thing’s for sure – the familiar Prius shape is still there, but that was never really a style statement, being more a product of trying to cut drag.
The article accompanying the photo contains limited information, including stuff that we already know, like the fact that the Prius will be built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) which could make it up to 20 percent lighter overall.
Looking at the heavily camouflaged car, it looks like the styling will have a bit of Mirai about it this time; we hope we’re wrong, though, as the Mirai isn’t really a looker…
